For graduating students, or students who otherwise terminate their affiliation with their college or university, membership is from the point of graduation until the following May 31st, with the exception of those students who graduate between January and June (whereby such membership expires instead on May 31st of the following calendar year).
Once a student begins any part of their year of free membership in the Kappa Kappa Psi Alumni Association following their graduation or termination of their affiliation with a college or university, this free period is exhausted at the end of the year. If the student later returns to college or university, he or she will not receive another free year of membership. The only exception to this bar is when a student who graduates or terminates their affiliation with a college or university and later enrolls, within the same year, at a different institution and becomes an active or associate member of the chapter on that campus. In this situation, the student’s free year of membership in the Kappa Kappa Psi Alumni Association begins after graduating or otherwise terminating affiliation with the subsequent college or university.
